Losing 3 of 4 to Detroit and we're supposed to be excited about this team?  It's a joke. Division might come down to Detroit a and Cleveland. Someone needs to take a close look at the leadership from top to bottom

Crunch time is here starting with 2 against the Tigers and I agree. If they can't sweep or at very least split these 2 games whether or not they make the playoffs is irrelevant. This is followed by Pirates (no pushover), a bunch of games against Texas and leading up to the 6 games against Cleveland to end the month and into Sep. If the Tigers actually sweep the season is over.

If you want to apply the logic that losing 3 of 4 to the Tigers dooms the Twins, then you can flip the script and say winning the season series against the Astros elevates the Twins to World Series contender.

Peoples over reaction to SSS is crazy.  Yes, losing to Detroit is not great, but we have beat teams with better records as well.  Any team can beat any team, even in a long series.  That is why the WS is not always the better the team.

Obviously the Twins didn't take the Tigers too serious;y last night, that's why they chose to hit in only one inning😃
