Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Would one imagine Napoli is still capable of throwing on the gear for a day, but who knows since they have stated they don't want him catching an inning this year. I would have guess Napoli too but Jonny Gomes is the 3rd guy. The Red Sox are carrying 4 catchers!
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Positive spin: both teams are 0-1 for pitcher conferences
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 At the moment Hernandez is working on giving 'em right back. I didn't mean to actually cause anything.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 I left the room for five minutes. Ell Oh Ell.
big dog Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 According to MLB's pitchtracker, Hernandez is getting squeezed on both the high strike and the low strike. We could be looking at a 12-10 game. OK, 15-10.
GCTF Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 It was awful nice of Webster to spot Hernandez this many runs. Awfully nice, indeed.

Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 It was awful nice of Hernandez to keep things interesting for us fans. God knows a tidy, 2 and a half hour affair at Fenway would have put us right to sleep
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 So Hernandez manages to give up the lead. Amazing.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I would have guess Napoli too but Jonny Gomes is the 3rd guy. Gomes hits pretty good for a backup catcher. Awfully nice of him.

Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Florimon is clearly high on some kind of stimulant, probably a greenie.

They can probably sent Hernandez down and replace him with Gibson. Rochester is not that far away.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Gotta go away for an hour or so. Hope I don't miss too much of the second inning.
GCTF Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Too bad the Sawks will have the last at bat.

ashbury Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Pedro's got a 1.000 BABIP tonight. So does the Florimonster.

Gibson pitches tonight for Rochester. Wouldn't be surprised at all if his next start is at Target Field. Hernandez can have a role, just needs to be a LOOGY.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Well, this is nothing if not entertaining.
buckninetyone Provisional Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 we're in the bottom of the sixth, correct?
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 we're in the bottom of the sixth, correct? Sure seems that way.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 One has to wonder if Mauer could bat .400 in a Red Sox uniform.
