I like the players acquired. I don't believe the Twins are winning the world series in '22 or '23. I wish they would have made these types of moves in '19 when they were legitimate contenders instead of now.

I'm not saying you fall into this category, but feels like with some fans it's damned if you do, damned if you don't.... I personally don't want to wait out every prospect into oblivion without building a here and now competitive major league team. You can only ever make decisions based on the current situation and I think these were the right moves for both short-term and long-term, regardless of what happens.

I'll tell you what. What we have seen is a lot of new bodies play for the Twins, both in prospects and pickups.

The Twins also, as of today still have 17 players on the IL-list, 17! A goodly potion of those COULD stay on the 40-man roster. Whew.

I wanted 3 arms... I got 3 arms. I would have like a power bat rental like Mancini or Bell. I'll be OK.

PS. Don't forget Leon.  He has been a good defensive catcher, seems to handle the pitching staff well, and has hit poorly (as expected).  Good for a backup.
