The loss dropped Minnesota to 16-29, which was good for last place in the AL Central, two games behind Detroit and a whopping 10.5 behind division leader Chicago.

Wasn't it awful? It was around this time where everyone finally started to accept that the team wasn't good, they weren't coming back, and the season was, in fact, over.
