Om May 22, 2021 the Twins dropped the game 5-3 to the Cleveland Indians in extra innings when Alex Colome served up a 10th inning homer to Cesar Hernandez. The loss dropped Minnesota to 16-29, which was good for last place in the AL Central, two games behind Detroit and a whopping 10.5 behind division leader Chicago.

And baseball-reference has the Twins at 60.8% to make postseason, 2.0% to win World Series this morning.

Nope. Never happened. I have no memory of any of this.

Wasn't it awful? It was around this time where everyone finally started to accept that the team wasn't good, they weren't coming back, and the season was, in fact, over.
