I guess we're at that point.

One bad inning from Diamond aside, the pitching has done the job. Neither Diamond nor the bullpen lost this.

People once described Parm's RF defense as Delmonesque, I think he's on the brink of easily surpassing the Kubelesque standard. That, how Diamond did and Morneau's first dinger were the only things remotely interesting today. I have a sneaking suspicion it's going to be a long, hard slog to make all my game commitments this year .

+1 on all counts. And Parm has had few enough reps in right, especially in the last 3 years and in Target Field, that his defense there should have more room for improvement than most guys of his age and experience level.

I got a real good laugh out of it, so did my father when I told it to him. We don't need to take ourselves so ****ing seriously every minute of every day.
