Scotts Verified Member Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 We need two veteran pitchers via trade or out right signing them. otherwise we have great depth of mlb ready pitchers at AAA and AA ps. Bring up Miranda. He is a beast put him at third end Donaldson packing!

Ober, Jax, Thorpe, Ryan, Barnes, Burrows, Albers, ? Because you can't be talking about Winder, SWR, Sands, Schulfer, Sammons, Vallimont, Balazovic, Shepherd, Strotman, Duran, Garcia, because while a few may turn out I would hardly say any are MLB ready pitchers (that is the pitchers that made most of the starts for Wichita and St. Paul)
4twinsJA Verified Member Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Hopeful for Twins pitching prospects-Winder, Duran(BP candidate IMO), Balazovic, Ryan, Sands, SWR and a few others. But, none except Ryan will be ready for MLB opening day. I would think Twins sign at least one front of rotation starter and a mid rotation starter, also tend to sign veteran starter for depth. But hopefully, some of these prospects get opportunities as next year progresses-Winder, Duran, Balazovic being the leading candidates.
Rosterman Verified Member Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 The Twins ain't seeing anyone beak camp that hasn't been in the majors: Ober, Barnes, Jax. Who knows what will happen to Thorpe or Smeltzer (or Dobnak). Balazovic, Duran, Winder, maybe Sands will start at AAA. Sammons will probably walk. SWR and Vallimont will probably start at A with Enlow.
