All Star Game

Who came up with the ugly uniforms for tonight’s game? One of the things I always loved was having everyone in their team’s regular uniforms. It was unique to baseball. These uniforms are terrible. Go back to tradition.

The uniforms are terrible but Soto’s silver glove is really cool.

I kinda like them, albeit I never really like the "jersey" type tops, and prefer the button down. One thing is that all the players have a special souvenir uniform to keep from their time as All-Star (like a special Olympic Team uniform) and for some, it may be the only ASG they get to play in, so that is very cool for them. And each uniform has the emblem of the team they play for on it, too.

It was tough but I did not watch.  I do not believe politics should be mixed in with baseball so after they removed the game from Atlanta I was determined not to watch.

I liked the All Star game. The players are really into. Apparently Ohtani dressed and left the park after he came out of the game. I have no problem with that and it didn't sound like the players did either. (per radio). These guys need some rest as well. But I also heard the players weren't keen on other players taking the game off just because. No one really wants to see Lance Lynn and Kyle Gibson, do they? Twins fans maybe.

I also liked the hot mikes during live action. A really good way to put the players center stage and present the game in a different way before the second half gets underway.
