Alcalas glove was very low key then, I’m not sure what that was really about.

I wonder what would be done if a pitcher has his pitching hand and forearm tattooed baseball color or some other significantly distracting color or pattern. I'm pretty sure there's no rule governing that.

I could see an umpire requiring a pitcher to wear sleeves

It resembles the ball too much.
