gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Good signing for Det, although that big of a park might limit Hunter a bit. And, of course, he's old so he could fall off a cliff.

Add that to the fact that they underachieved in the first half this past season based on their talent. Should win 100 games this year

beckmt Verified Member Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Huner will help Detroit. It just means a couple of their non performers will probably not be back(Bosech, Raburn)/

PseudoSABR Verified Member Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 26 mil for a non-CF Torii Hunter. Have at it, Detroit.

And I wasn't even claiming they couldn't win 100. Not sure they should, though, and I'd wager the under is more likely.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 $26M is a lot of money....I wish deals wouldn't cost so much.Anyways, good luck Hunter....

A guy like that is going to get another shot, his poor performance in '12 notwithstanding. (Even if he did go to that hellhole called UC Berkeley.)
