Throwing a screen every drive isn't fooling anyone. Take shots with Diggs and Thielen. Get aggressive cousins! No roll outs. No misdirection. Vanilla and ineffective. I hope Stefanski gets hired so he's gone.

It's on the coaches and OL, not the QB. So far.

Come on boys. Whatever San Fran does here. Offense need to come back out of hibernation and put a drive together somehow.

I'd love to be wrong, but I have no confidence the offense will muster a first down. This isn't the same team that played last week. They look uninspired and weak.

Gads, not only do we have to lose, I have to listen to Collinsworth.

 

The difference in the o-lines is huge. Not sure there's much we can do now.

They looked pretty good most of the first half, too. Not sure what changed.

Disagree. They were completely outplayed and lucky to be within 4. Shoot, they had 83 total yards.

Nice stop. Still some game left. Absolutely needed a stop here. San Francisco’s run game is just too good, however.

 

Edit: And then that.

 

I thought it looked like Cousins could have tucked and run for the first down, on the last possession. Let’s face it, QBs like him who don’t run are anachronisms in today’s game.

Sad. I am holding out hope, but things have to change.

 

Cousins should have run. It isn't an indictment on him, but the scheme has to play up what he's good at. I do think Zimmer is ultimately at fault for the offense.

Take a chance.. if you fail to convert, a short field and quick score almost works in your favor as much as punting to a great run offense and tired defense on a long field.

Correction: Incompletion/drop on third down helps too

Yeah, they have less than 100 yards.

 

I really hope the Nines keep playing hard and score again. Would a 41-10 beat down get everyone fired?
