Badsmerf Verified Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Eiflein sucks.Exactly what I said. Throwing a screen every drive isn't fooling anyone. Take shots with Diggs and Thielen. Get aggressive cousins! No roll outs. No misdirection. Vanilla and ineffective. I hope Stefanski gets hired so he's gone.

Badsmerf Verified Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Niners marching with ease. Anytime they need a big play, it is on Rhodes.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 The delta right now is coaching and OL play.....
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Niners are just better. This game is going to get ugly. I'd be surprised if it is kept within 14 points.

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Come on boys. Whatever San Fran does here. Offense need to come back out of hibernation and put a drive together somehow.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Lot of questions for next year. Decimated secondary. Terrible O line. Aging defense. I think it's over.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Come on boys. Whatever San Fran does here. This isn't the same team that played last week. They look uninspired and weak.
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Gads, not only do we have to lose, I have to listen to Collinsworth. The difference in the o-lines is huge. Not sure there's much we can do now.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Will the Niners run up the score? Sit Jimmy G at a certain point? Why play him the 4th if they're up 21+ points?

Badsmerf Verified Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 They looked pretty good most of the first half, too. Not sure what changed.Disagree. They were completely outplayed and lucky to be within 4. Shoot, they had 83 total yards.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 There's a woman fan here, explaining the game to her boyfriend, every play.Umm ... really?
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Nice stop. Still some game left. Absolutely needed a stop here. San Francisco’s run game is just too good, however. Edit: And then that. I thought it looked like Cousins could have tucked and run for the first down, on the last possession. Let’s face it, QBs like him who don’t run are anachronisms in today’s game.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Sad. I am holding out hope, but things have to change. Cousins should have run. It isn't an indictment on him, but the scheme has to play up what he's good at. I do think Zimmer is ultimately at fault for the offense.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Sherels has a huge heart. I feel bad for him. But I guess they moved on from him for a reason.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Punt down 17. **** you Zimmer.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Punt down 17. **** you Zimmer.+1 Take a chance.. if you fail to convert, a short field and quick score almost works in your favor as much as punting to a great run offense and tired defense on a long field.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 6 3 and outs on 8 drives... and this guy is interviewing as a head coach. Ok boomer.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Run on first down here, right?
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 +1Take a chance.. if you fail to convert, a short field and quick score almost works in your favor as much as punting to a great run offense and tired defense on a long field.Correction: Incompletion/drop on third down helps too
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 I can’t believe they actually still ran on first down. And then threw another screen.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Another screen
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Screens only work when the defense isn't ready for them. What a joke.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 108 yards. Plus the four sacks—do they have under 100 net yards.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Yeah, they have less than 100 yards. I really hope the Nines keep playing hard and score again. Would a 41-10 beat down get everyone fired?
