Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Braves hitters aggressive , both HR's on the 1st pitch They did the same against Berrios last night.
Dakota15 Provisional Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 I don't want to burn the pen by any stretch before this weekend, but not sure leaving Perez in to get rocked is a great play either.
SpicyGarvSauce Verified Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Good thing the Twins held onto all those prospects instead of going out and getting a SP that is better than Perez.Great front office this organization has.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Yeah, that isn't happening (Perez going 5 scoreless). He's done it before
SpicyGarvSauce Verified Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 He's done it before Just because someone or something has happened before doesn't mean it will happen again.

MNT1996 Verified Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Just because someone or something has happened before doesn't mean it will happen again. Just because Perez had a bad first inning doesn't mean he will have 5 more bad innings. Works both ways.
SpicyGarvSauce Verified Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Just because Perez had a bad first inning doesn't mean he will have 5 more bad innings. Works both ways. Go ahead and do some investigating to find out which is more likely. Get back to me then.
SpicyGarvSauce Verified Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 This is some HARD regression to the mean for this team.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 really interesting with cleveland playing a DH before our series tomorrow. will the lead be down to 2, up to 5 or somewhere in the middle?
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Good thing the Twins held onto all those prospects instead of going out and getting a SP that is better than Perez.Great front office this organization has. You're right. Falvine deserve all the blame for only getting two relievers at the deadline, and none of the credit for the team playing at a 100 win pace.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 And people tried to convince me Perez would be back next year.... No chance.

MNT1996 Verified Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 I just want to know who's idea it was to wear the white unis again. Didn't work too well last night.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 If Perez goes 5 scoreless from here on out he's still giving us a quality start. Bats will jump on FriedYeah, that isn't happening (Perez going 5 scoreless).

Yeah, if this is a bad front office, I'll take a bad front office all day long.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 someone on here yesterday said this fried guy is a bum
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Man, Fried 3 up, 3 strikeouts, not a great counter to those 3 runs fellas.
crapforks Provisional Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Anyone care to show the location of each ABs first pitch so far? Flowers and Inciarte both got very hittable strikes on 0-0
bighat Verified Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Wow, Braves come out roaring and all 3 batters for the Twins strike out to start the 1st. I know it's early but you couldn't have scripted a worse start to this game.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Not even remotely what I said, but okay! You said, and I quote, "Great front office this organization has." We can all understand the sarcastic nature of this. You clearly don't think the FO is good, which is what led multiple posters to point out they have assembled a team on pace to win 100 games, only 3 years after the same organization lost 100 games. Blame them for not making more deals all you want, but its ridiculous to assert that the first 3 years of the Falvine administration have been anything but successful.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 First inning: 10 plate apprarances, 3 K, 2 HR. Three true outcomes dream.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Good bounce back inning for Perez, would be great to see some good AB's here
wavedog Verified Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 I was going for the shortest post with the "out" post - now we can turn the scoreboard around and take the lead.
