I don't want to burn the pen by any stretch before this weekend, but not sure leaving Perez in to get rocked is a great play either.

Just because Perez had a bad first inning doesn't mean he will have 5 more bad innings. Works both ways.

really interesting with cleveland playing a DH before our series tomorrow. will the lead be down to 2, up to 5 or somewhere in the middle?

Great front office this organization has.

 

You're right.  Falvine deserve all the blame for only getting two relievers at the deadline, and none of the credit for the team playing at a 100 win pace.

Wow, Braves come out roaring and all 3 batters for the Twins strike out to start the 1st.

 

I know it's early but you couldn't have scripted a worse start to this game.

You said, and I quote, "Great front office this organization has."  We can all understand the sarcastic nature of this.  You clearly don't think the FO is good, which is what led multiple posters to point out they have assembled a team on pace to win 100 games, only 3 years after the same organization lost 100 games.  Blame them for not making more deals all you want, but its ridiculous to assert that the first 3 years of the Falvine administration have been anything but successful.
