NOT saying Magill is a fireman, but his stuff is absolutely nasty at times! Just wish he could find more consistency.

 

Do you send him out again or let him sit and build on that inning?

Just checkin' in now. Looks like the walks have been the downfall of the pitching staff by the quick recap.

Give them the lead so you can get an up-close scouting report on the back end of their bullpen pre fire sale.

I'd say a really, really bad pitch, at a bad time, to Encarnacion was the downfall.

I see that. But the 3 walks in the 5th and 7th account for the lead it looks like. Two run dingers after 2 singles never help. 

 

I might be the good luck guy this game?

The part of that era that got me the most was definitely an ownership/budget thing.

 

When the Twins were a winning team, they hardly sent any advance scouts out. I guess that's more a Sept or post season complaint than trading deadline, but you just reminded me.
