Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 I hate Green Bay. Not only do you have to beat that team, you also have to beat the refs... who are oblivious calling holding against their OL, and PI against their secondary.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 I hate Green Bay. Not only do you have to beat that team, you also have to beat the refs... who are oblivious calling holding against their OL, and PI against their secondary. You mean like the preposterous roughing the QB call on Matthews that allowed the Vikings to escape with a tie? This idea that the refs are favoring one team over another is such a losers mentality. If the Vikings win or lose, it will not be because of the officials.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Really? All the weapons we have, and you give the ball to CJ Ham when you need a first down?
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Twelve men in the huddle, these are professionals?
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Cue the clown car music. Thielen gets posterized, then Diggs decides to run the wrong way.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Another primetime game where the Vikings opponent looks so much more focused and ready to play than they do. For whatever reason, Zimmer's teams don't come to play in primetime.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Every high pick on this defense, and this is how they play?
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 How were they so completely fooled by such a simple play? It's like the Packers were moving at full speed, and our defense was moving in slow motion.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Big surprise that Treadwell can't catch a perfect throw, no traffic. They keep putting him out there, Cousins keeps throwing it to him, I don't get it.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Bad start, they look like they may have work up though.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Rudolph much more involved today.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Just quit trying field goals at this point. It's not like they will stop Green Bay much.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 I'm beginning to think that Griffin is contractually required to be offsides at least once per game.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 I think Rodgers really wanted the ball snapped because he saw something. A break for the Vikings, maybe.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Defense looking better the last few drives.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 I think Rodgers really wanted the ball snapped because he saw something. A break for the Vikings, maybe.Good. They need to start frustrating him and he'll start forcing plays. Can't allow him to be comfortable, or he'll pick them apart.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Awful 2 minute clock management, again.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted November 26, 2018 Author Posted November 26, 2018 Piss poor special teams every week.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Seriously? 2 missed FG? They should have gone for it after that penalty. 56 yards from the wrong side, just bomb it, about the same chance of converting.

They should have had 2 more plays on that drive, minimum.

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted November 26, 2018 Author Posted November 26, 2018 Agree. They were too afraid to leave time for Green Bay. It looked obvious to me.Aaron Boogeyman Rodgers waiting on the other side line.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Agree. They were too afraid to leave time for Green Bay. It looked obvious to me.Yep. Teams that play scared don't deserve to win.

Badsmerf Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Also... clearly a penalty. I was wondering about it after seeing Bailey on the ground.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Awful 2 minute clock management, again.Disagree. They had second and eighteen. Running the clock there makes sense. And I hate playing not to lose.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Disagree. They had second and eighteen. Running the clock there makes sense. And I hate playing not to lose.It was third and 7 when they ran the clock. They can't have it both ways. By definition, you can't leave yourself time to score, without risking giving the other team time to score if they get the ball. Commit to one, run out the clock, or try to score.

Kinda tough to for me to criticize too much in that situation.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Hell of a showing by the defense there. Packers are really having trouble moving the ball now.
