I vow to watch this game from start to finish. (or at least until I get a better offer).

Do the Twins have the only 2 starters that dont pitch out of the windup in MLN in Vasquez/Duensing??

Minnesota, where relievers start, and first basemen play the outfield.

If Parmelee keeps hitting like that he can play SS for all I care, well not really.

Florimon is now a resident of my personal doghouse after that idiotic head first dive into 1B.

Vasquez > Gray

Absolutely. If Vasquez ever ends up with his own thread then the deabte can begin.

Any consideration of the possibilty of Nerves with Vasquez. He seems like's overthrowing his fastball a bit but he has a nice change of pace. If he settles down and mixes things up. I can see him as effective.

The nerves have to calm first.

Okay, I'll give him one more inning.

He wasn't like this in Rochester - he was quite good. Granted, this is a different animal at this level, but I agree. This is his first major league start - who wouldn't be a bit jumpy at that?

Watching the Royals broadcast...they've been showing shots of David Lough's family (making his MLB debut today). There appears to be a rather huge fat guy sleeping right behind them.

Throw the Fat Guy in the Fountain... That'll wake him up.

What the heck was that?

The bunt by Doumit?

Yeah, not a good effort. Well, maybe for Doumit at bunting, but that was pretty bad regardless. Really trying to stay out of the double play I guess.

OK, this is what we've all been waiting for. Bases load for Alexi Casilla with two outs, tying run on 2nd...

You said it! :) You were being sarcastic though, right?
