Speaking of signs, I loved Berts anecdote last night regarding the stealing of signs. According to Bert, and he cleaned it up, he once told a runner on second to quit relaying signs or someone was going to get hurt.

I have no idea how you would do it, but if they really wanted to speed up the game, banning the stealing of signs would be a good way. Then the catcher would only have to do one signal, like they do with nobody on base.

 

There would have to be some pretty stiff penalties for violating the rule though.

Put earmuffs on the batter, and give the catcher and pitcher bluetooth.  Problem solved.

As a continuation of yesterday ... what say you all to these? I think it's a good start and good variety to my and van's shop:

Although, I'm not really sure I want to try the broccoli cobbler ... I mean ... maybe with a cheese sauce on top instead of ice cream or whipped cream. But I think it wiser to stay to the sweet choices, at least until established, and then introduce a few savory choices.

I think cobbler is quite healthy enough, what with all the fruit and stuff without going overboard and introducing vegetables and whatnot.
