Worst Twin Ever?

Although on second thought, Tommy Herr deserves consideration as well.

It is without a doubt, Tommy Herr! We gave up Tom Brunanski for him! Ron Davis as a closer is right up there.

You took the words right out of my mouth!!! They traded a good player in Bruno to get a malcontent like Herr. Worse than spending 15 million on Nishi.

Just to be a little contrary: The Twins finished 1988 at 91-71, after getting off to a horrible 4-10 start while Brunansky was on the roster - so that makes them 87-61 with Herr. No one was going to catch the A's that year, but a 95-win pace doesn't speak of a team torn apart by the trade.

Yes, I'm all over the map on Tommy Herr. :)

What about Joe Mauer? He makes way to much money, can't stay on the field, doesn't hit homeruns, and...

Wait a minute...

What thread am I on?

Has there been any player you liked , that played for the Twins? Anouncer, batboy , toilet jockey?

I'm not sure this topic was a good idea- it's bringing back some painful memories. :banghead:

Two words: Sean Bergman.

Longevity plays a big part here, otherwise the worst player will be a Jim Hoey or Seth Greisinger type.

I would nominate Rondell White, who out up a .620 OPS as a DH.

Nishioka has got to be the worst. Herr nobody like even before he got on the field. I kind of like Davis but he did lay it in there.
