I don't think 1 game went my way this weekend.....I was trying to decide who, among the remaining teams, was least offensive. Having friends all over the country means most teams have fans I don't want bragging.....

Yeah, the NFL is different than the other sports. I find it hard not to dislike just about every team.

The only thing underdog fans like me have to hold onto is the Chiefs somehow becoming AFC Champions. Every single QB besides Brady and Smith are injured in that conference.

Chiefs are pretty much the only team I can stomach rooting for also.

If it's Patriots-Cowboys in the Super Bowl that is going to be excruciating to watch.  I might root for the apocalypse making a timely appearance instead.

Throw in the a Patriot-Packer match up for me also.

I can't believe I have to cheer for Atlanta and Seattle; I dislike both so terribly.

Worse than Pats-Packers?!?!?

At least in that one, for me, I thoroughly hate one team so much more it allows me to root for the other a bit.

The problem with the rest of the matchups is I really don't like all of them about equally.

I think Atlanta and KC are the least offensive teams left for me. I'm pulling for them, I guess.

Please, please not Sea or NE, please.

A Vikings fan in Seahawk territory has to be tough.

I'm still more upset about the missed field goal in 1999 than I am the one last year though so I have ATL a spot or two ahead of Seattle on my hate list. Though both are distantly trailing GB and Dallas.

And to be clear, that list has about 31 teams on it. I'm pretty sure I'm already cheering for the AFC this year, even if that team happens to be the Patriots.

My hate of Seattle has grown not from the loss last year but watching their games.  No one seems to whine as much, while getting the overwhelming imbalance of calls their way, than that team.  There is something about their personality as a team I just can't stand, maybe I'm not putting my finger on it though.

Meh, I don't know any ATL fans.....even before I lived here, I knew obnoxious SEA fans, now? Now it is worse.....

Agreed, the more I watch them, the less I like them, (but no one complains more than Aaron Rodgers).

Yeah, Rodgers is the worse for sure.  The Seahawks remind me of him with those antics, maybe that's why.

3 potential match ups would be horrible... I'd rank them from most insufferable to tolerable:

Pats v Cowboys - living in Texas, and Cowboys fans are out in full force worshiping Elliot and Prescott.

Pats v Packers - no team complains more and gets more penalties called their way than the Green Bay Packers.

Pats v Seahawks - Just a boring match up... Don't want to see it for a 3rd time.

I know a couple of Seattle fans, bandwagoners for sure.

But obnoxious fandom only makes up a part of my dislike for teams. It might make up more if I was ever able to leave the house or did other social media other than TD and I had to interact with such folks more often.

Also, I like Seattle's odds of beating GB at home better than ATL should it come to that. Considering that if the Vikings aren't playing, the entirety of my football interest lies in ensuring GB loses, I'm almost always going to cheer for the team with better odds against them.

This isn't really a Vikings related thing... But, how about those LA Super Chargers?!

Stupid, greedy relocation for no reason.

money is a reason most businesses do things....

I don't think you can get any more bland than that.... If they lose the powder blue jerseys, it will be a damn shame.

Seriously? That's awful. Just terrible.

I think LA fans are going to be confused when they show up to the stadium expecting it to be in the 4th inning.

Posted

I think having teams there is a mistake. now, when the games don't sell out, you have closed off one of the largest markets from having games on tv.....but whatever. I'm losing interesting in the NFL...

Posted

I can't see both teams lasting long in LA. Since the Chargers are basically renting from LA, I'd bet that they are going to be perennial free agents that the NFL will use to get another market to build a new stadium. Heck, maybe even San Diego decides to do it in five years or so.

I don't know. I kind of like it. In a world where we over complicate and make a mess out of things, I think it is decent. Simplicity usually rules the day with a logo creation. It's a sports logo - no more, no less.

If the Chargers win the Super Bowl next year, It will be fashionable for young males to wear this baseball cap or jersey.
