Have the ads been better lately?

Late last week, we moved to a managed ad service. We finally gave up and put the handling of ads and slots to professionals who know what they're doing.

 

Have ads been better for most of you over the past 3-4 days? I know they've loaded more quickly and shown more relevant information for me but I want to get a feel for what all of you are seeing.

They are better than the auto-play ads before, and not messing with the user experience on the site so far. 

I'll pay attention more to the ads, but I'm seeing ads for Sling TV and SquareSpace right now.

Actually for me they load a lot slower and still try to fix me up with young Russian and Thai women. So, the jury is still out for me.

I see a lot of this, where it sits and thinks for a while before loading the ads.

There's a display bug in the top ad that I'll get around to investigating soon. It'll open a 250px height container when it only needs 90px.

I'm experiencing periods of slowness ... even in typing let alone posting. And I'm getting audio ads ... and can't seem to mute them, either. Just had a State Farm ad go by in the upper right-hand position.

And now another one ... still State Farm but a different ad. Same spot. And I finished typing that and waited 5-10 seconds for it to catch up with me.

I was searching Vikings Journal on iPad/iPhone last night and earlier today. It's been redirecting me to a spam site where "I've won a Free iPad!" with no back tab to return to VJ. 

Using Safari on the apple products. 

So far it's worked well on a PC.

Located between the 1st and 2nd most recently updated threads on Minnesota Twins Talk and The Sports Bar.

They're inside your mind and know what you want before you know you want it! You guys get the fun ads... I've got a big Sling TV ad on the right hand side of the screen, and an Uber Eats Austin ad on the top banner.

I $%^& you not, I simply googled ChiTownTwinsFan and Marcos. This was the third option from the top.

 

I was pretty sure I remembered something about you and a shoe issue.
