GP830 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 MLBTR is reporting that D'Arnaud has been placed on revocable waivers. I may be wrong here, but doesn't the team with the worst record in the opposing league have the first shot at claiming a player who is on waivers, and thus have the initial exclusive opportunity to try and trade for that player? Also, haven't the Mets been scraping to add firepower to their lineup? If my assumptions are correct, wouldn't this be an interesting fit for a trade?

Nope, worst record in same league and every team in that league before worst team in opposing league.

Even if it's improbable, it was worth it just for the mental exercises of imagining how Blyleven and Sid would butcher the pronunciation, and how the Twins would cute up his name. " 'Naudsie "?
