Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 No, I phrase it like they are people, who sometimes just want to spend time with their families instead of beating the crap out of their bodies for entertainment purposes. That's not what they are doing. They beat up their bodies for a paycheck. This isn't a hobby, these are not amateurs.

We clearly aren't going to agree......I understand why people would pass up money to spend time with family. I totally get it.

I totally get it.I do as well. I wasn't responding to the part about family. I was responding to the statement about them beating up their bodies for our entertainment. That is not at all what they do. They beat up their bodies for massive, life altering paychecks, it makes no difference to them if we are entertained or not. Besides, there are probably several hundred jobs that are harder on a body than baseball. TheLeviathan, USAFChief and David HK 3

jimmer Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 1. I buy it. Assuming you know better than the pitcher and the organization what's going on with Gibson's shoulder is arrogant as hell.2. Why on earth wouldn't crappy performances and shoulder strains be correlated? That makes perfect sense.3. Do we really need to find things to complain about when our top pitching prospect has been promoted? Can we not just enjoy the show?I'm sure there's a better way to get your point across than being overly sarcastic with a poster and saying a poster is arrogant as hell.
