I guess not. Is Metallica metal?

I never mentioned that band. Metallica is metal, not a fan. Don't be a jerk about it. I won't be shamed for what I like and music that other people like is up to there own tastes. Plain and simple.

This is the worst thread I have ever been involved in. People who only see in black and white in a music sense are destined to have awful opinions and put music into awful blocks of sameness and judgmentalism. Please keep me out of it.

Sorry you feel that way.

On the other hand, other than Bowie and Devo, I don't know any of the artists mentioned in this recent collection of posts. I am old.

I'll play along. I would have a few different albums by the same band if I was to be honest, but I will list one album from each band or solo artist that comes to mind.

Faith No More - Angel Dust
Portishead - Portishead
Soundgarden - Superunknown
Slayer - Reign in Blood
Sepultura - Chaos A.D.
LeButcherettes - Cry is for the Flies
Tomahawk - Oddfellows
Ennio Morricone - One Upon a Time in the West
David Bowie - Black Star (Just because it is his newest one and is great, all of his albums could be listed)

Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf

Note: Just wanted to salute the collective works of the Misfits, Dead Kennedys and Fugazi

Big fan of Soundgarden and QotSA. I've probably listened to Songs for the Deaf all the way through 15+ times. Wasn't a fan too much of their other albums they released in the mid-2000's, but they got back to their roots with ....Like Clockwork!

We have an identical take on QotSA. Songs for the Deaf is about as good as it gets as far as albums go. I wore that CD out back in 2002-2003. Then for 11 years they put out some mediocre stuff. Like Clockwork is really, really good. I was pleasantly surprised!

Xtc - oranges and lemons

Dee lite - world clique

Waterboys - fisherman's blues

Arctic Monkeys - am

Violent femmes - violent femmes

Weezer -weezer, blue

Soul coughing - irresistible bliss

Devo - freedom of choice

The clash - london calling

Nirvana - nevermind

Pretty solid list there. Bet I could guess your age pretty easy (wink).

Freedom of Choice over Q/A? Interesting. Do tell...

Ya, that's a heavy list of 80s music for sure.....

I could not decide on a Devo album, so I rolled a die.

Ten albums I'm digging at the moment, plus an unspecified honorary album:

Nothing's Shocking (1988) - Jane's Addiction

Incesticide (1992) - Nirvana

Transmissions from the Satellite Heart (1993) - The Flaming Lips

OK Computer (1997) - Radiohead

Urban Hymns (1997) - The Verve

The Man Who (1999) - Travis

B.R.M.C. (2001) - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

Phoenix (2003) - The Warlocks

Mezmirize (2005) - System of a Down

Passover (2006) - The Black Angels

Humbug (2009) - Arctic Monkeys

Catch me tomorrow and I'll probably compile a completely different list.

So it looks like the game is only one album per artist? I'll play (and look foolish)

Born to Run - Bruce Springsteen

Rumors - Fleetwood Mac

Let it Bleed - The Rolling Stones

Abbey Road - The Beatles

Appetite for Destruction - Guns 'N Roses

Damn the Torpedoes - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

Ten - Pearl Jam

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John

Weezer - The Blue Album

Led Zepplin IV - Led Zepplin

Those came to mind pretty quickly. Some would probably be replace if I thought about it for more than a couple minutes. But I'm not going to.

A week shy of 60. Luke, I am your grandfather. :D

Just a reminder Craig. I will be 42 in June and my mom turned 60 this past January, my dad won't be 60 until November.

Happy Birthday Craig! :D

Not until the 13th. And I plan to be gaming to celebrate.

You know I am just giving you a hard time.

My parents were the dumbest people on earth to have a kid in their teens. They did not prove their salt.
