Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 I guess not. Is Metallica metal?I never mentioned that band. Metallica is metal, not a fan. Don't be a jerk about it. I won't be shamed for what I like and music that other people like is up to there own tastes. Plain and simple.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 This is the worst thread I have ever been involved in. People who only see in black and white in a music sense are destined to have awful opinions and put music into awful blocks of sameness and judgmentalism. Please keep me out of it.

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 I'll play along. I would have a few different albums by the same band if I was to be honest, but I will list one album from each band or solo artist that comes to mind.Faith No More - Angel DustPortishead - PortisheadSoundgarden - SuperunknownSlayer - Reign in BloodSepultura - Chaos A.D.LeButcherettes - Cry is for the FliesTomahawk - OddfellowsEnnio Morricone - One Upon a Time in the WestDavid Bowie - Black Star (Just because it is his newest one and is great, all of his albums could be listed)Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf Note: Just wanted to salute the collective works of the Misfits, Dead Kennedys and Fugazi Big fan of Soundgarden and QotSA. I've probably listened to Songs for the Deaf all the way through 15+ times. Wasn't a fan too much of their other albums they released in the mid-2000's, but they got back to their roots with ....Like Clockwork!
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Not sure why, but I've been getting into 70's rock lately.... Finally putting artist's names to songs I've heard on the radio for a long time. Really digging Janis Joplin's music today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXV_QjenbDw

Songs for the Deaf is about as good as it gets as far as albums go. I wore that CD out back in 2002-2003. Then for 11 years they put out some mediocre stuff. Like Clockwork is really, really good. I was pleasantly surprised!
