how does everyone fell about giant pictures in the signature line?

I hate them......not because of what they are, but because they are big and distracting and you can't ignore them like you can a sig line......

I don't like them either, but you can go to settings, ignore preferences, and ignore signature lines indidually or en masse. I did that a while ago when I was noticing a few who felt the need to put more than a couple lines in their signatures.

In general I don't like them. Post the image once in a thread where it may have some degree of appropriateness or inappropriateness, as the case may be. But I'm good with free expression, too. At least until it becomes boring.

It is possible in the Ignore preferences to just ignore an individual user's signature, and ought else. Very handy for cases like this.

Edit - ninja'd again...

What does ninja'd me mean ... that I beat you to the punch on an answer?

Yup.

Maybe I'll put it in a signature. :)

Thank you for this. Not a fan of the pictures either.

Personally, to each his/her own. I don't care if someone wants to express themselves in such a way as long as I have a way to not be forced to read/see it every time. It's odd to see a post that is a few words or one sentence long and then have this lengthy signature line. But in the process, I removed my signature, which was a Mike quote. I figured if I was going to ignore everyone's signatures, I should remove mine. Fair is fair. But many I do enjoy. Or did.

I promise to withdraw my signature posting of the Epic of Gilgamesh.

Lol ... a thingabmabobby? Hahahahaha!

Hehe.

Most sig lines I like. I enjoyed the little snippets of personality. I found it ... interesting, if not enlightening. But now I might have to put in a sig line again and use Mike's sentence above just for the word 'thingabmabobby.'

I don't care for them in general but they don't really bother me, until they become self indulgent, which I've definitely noticed some have.

They've been appropriately ignored.
