Just Curious? Why not Arcia?

I would have let the following PH or bat in their lineup spot before PH'ing Arcia for them.  Kepler, Pinto (40 man but awful this year), Polanco (40 man) santana, Nunez, Herrmann, Robinson, Buxton, Punto and even Jason Tyner.  I draw the line at Drew Butera though.

Call me crazy, I would rather have Kepler as a PH today instead of Santana.

I would rather have Hicks play instead of Buxton.

Yeah i mentioned the Kepler bit in the game thread. I agree with you there.

Would absolutely love to see Darnell and Meyer come up.

Darnell because I think he has the potential to be a very useful LHRP, not just a LOOGY, who can actually get a SO or two.

And Meyer as a confidence booster as he's been doing much better as of late, and I'd like to see him keep up the positive momentum a little longer.

Meyer could be that impact guy who instantly fixes the pen.

Meyer in the 7th

May in the 8th

Jepsen in the 9th

Even better if Perk comes back

I totally agree.  If Meyer has figured out the strikezone and becomes dominant the bullpen could become very dangerous, in a good way ;)

I wouldn't mind the Twins cycling through some such relievers as well. Duensing and Fien are done with the team going forward, in my view, so why bother continuing to give them innings?

Another good outing for Meyer today. I'd like to see him back. He could really make the bullpen dynamic next year and I haven't quite given up on him getting in the rotation.

At this point just make him a RP.  He is 26 (opening day next year) and the Twins have excessive starters and too few RP'ers.  Combine that with the durability and control problems (could reduce if throwing fewer pitch types) and it is logical to give up on the SP hope.  May on the other hand is a different story.

I started reading this as a post about Arcia and sadly didn't find it completely insane.
