sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 I was a tad old to buy into The Clash. That's who played it? I was wondering that too. All i remember is the repeated phrase. "Rock the Kazmir. Rock the Kazmier..." where rock is a higher note than the rest... Oh, and emphasis on Rock. Riverbrian 1

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Rockin the Casbah. I stand corrected. But i think i'm likin' my version better, even if the Twins haven't figured out how to play it... Gibby 1
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 When is a pick off also a caught stealing? I assume it's if he's goin' to 2nd, but sometimes that's not 'cause he was stealin', it's 'cause he was picked off... That always kinda bothered me, 'cause it was like the runner has double jeopardy there. At least he only gets out once...
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2015 Author Posted August 29, 2015 My point exactly! For if the river were on the walk, it would require one to walk on water. And there are few of us with that ability! :) I tried once... It's a lot harder than it looks.
David HK Verified Member Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 We can still lick our chops. Isn't it what chops are for?Heh... I hope it's from Pavlovian delight, tho, not from licking the blood away from a shot in the kisser.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2015 Author Posted August 29, 2015 How come the Folks at Hungry Man make us remove the film from the Chicken... Potatoes and Dessert but leave the Film over the Vegetables which we have to cut a slit in the film. Can't they just have their factory prepare it that way for us and package and ship. It would save them some money in film. David HK and KidBro 2

It would save them some money in film. Maybe the frozen food would become stale if exposed to atmosphere? Or maybe they're giving themselves an excuse. It woulda tasted better if you'd remembered to slit the vegetables... But rather, it's cheaper to do it all the same way and tell people to treat it differently. Client-side optimizations or something. Riverbrian 1
