Today is National Pastry Day! There's a place in Austin called Upper Crust Bakery that have the best pastries ever. Give me one of those over a donut any day of the week.

As my small home is filled with the most awesome aromas (baking pumpkin break), it reminded me that this has not been updated in a while. Today was National Biscuits and Gravy Day and National Bouillabaisse Day. Neither are really my cup of tea, so I guess I don't have much to say about it. But what surprises me most is that you guys missed Lager Day!! REally??? So shocked.

Missing lager day makes me sad, although lager is a summer beer for me. Oh well. I'm sure I'll find a way to make it up to myself.....somehow.
