I don't know if there is a master list of AJ Pierzynski's best moments of trying to get an edge for his team, but if there is, this could well be at the top:

If he's truly framing it, it is amazing that he's trying to sell THAT pitch.

If he's quick witted enough to be making a joke out of THAT pitch, it is also amazing.

 

Amazing. That's what the A stands for in AJ.

the 2005 championship series where he reaches on a "dropped" third strike comes to mind. ol' aj kinda nonchalants it a couple steps toward the dugout until the catcher rolls the ball to the mound and the players are mostly off the field. then he hightails it to first.

Thanks for the link.  How did AJ even think to run on that?  Gotta love it, though, unless you're a fan of the Angels (or good umpiring ).

His towel-waving to celebrate the win on Monday night was pretty legendary. There are a ton of GIFs already put together in Braves country highlighting his jubilation in that moment.

I was watching the game where Michael Barrett punched A.J. (as I recall it was the Saturday game of the week) and all I could think was Barrett was just doing what a lot of guys wanted to do. The White Sox "Punch AJ" All-Star campaign was pretty good too.
