Anyhoo, reason for my call, Terry Ryan threads, when are we going to get enough of them Van? As a guy who is constantly working on keeping the material for his show fresh and relevant, maybe you have some suggestions for the keep repeating myself until someone listens crowd. 

 

Also, what are your thoughts on circular logic?

North, you may be putting me in the dog house, but she's not my wife.... oh god I'm hesitant to even type this. 

To answer your question North, we are nearing our quota of 10 Terry Ryan threads in a 12 month span. ChiTown pointed out 7 or 8 of them, and this current one makes 9. We better save the last thread for something more special than an Aaron Hicks trade! I understand your frustration North, always having to repeat yourself. Is that what marriage is like? Sometimes I need to repeat myself on this show, but only for the important things... Things like bunting every at-bat. Having a 13 man bullpen. And cutting Ervin Santana's dreads to a manageable length. One day we'll all be on the same page. 1 TD account at a time. 

Circular logic eh? I didn't have a lot of thoughts on the subject until you asked. Is that when we are all thinking Sano is going to play RF, LF, or CF, and we'll come full circle to realize he's a 3B?

So before we were surprised by Miss Vanimal's appearance, the Intern went through a TON of research on MLB the Show to see who really won out on the Twins/Yankees trade. He dug deep into the numbers, and played games as Hicks and JR Murphy to find out who's going to be better. As we all know, video games are the best resource for determining future value. 

 

Aaron Hicks: 74 overall. JR Murphy: 72 overall.. Dun dun dun! Already falling behind the mark. Have no fear, Potential is a calculated figure in the game. Aaron Hicks: C  JR Murphy: C that's as even as you can get fellas. 

Lastly, the intern played home run derby mode with each player to find out the official winner of this trade. Aaron Hicks: 2 HR JR Murphy: 3 HR!!!!!!

 

By this calculated and scientific test, Minnesota Twins Whine Line can officially say.... The Twins won the trade!!!

Annnnd welcome back! To an EMERGENCY edition of Minnesota Twins Whine Line. Chief made the call saying that one of our loyal owners, Brock, was going insane talking about TR's past performance. Well good news Brock, we don't care about that topic on this show. It's all about HOT sports takes. 

So much has gone on since myself and the intern checked in with you. Zack Jones... is GONE! How are we going to move on from such a loss? I'll tell you how. By signing a left handed reliever named Buddy!!

 

Now, it's tough to find the deep stats about Buddy, but we did find a good bio about him:

- Buddy sticks to the 4 main food groups: Candy, Candy Canes, Candy Corn, and Syrup
- He's a family friendly person. If he ever has a bad outing on the mound, the worst thing he calls himself is a cotton-headed ninnymoggins
- Smiling is his favorite thing to do
- Except singing loud for all to hear to spread Christmas cheer
