Just got to watch the eaglets have supper.

One parent (Mom, I think) came home with a fish.  Then other parent came home and the 1st one wouldn't let the 2nd parent have any until the 1st had finished.

I have to get my watching in now because the eaglets are getting really close to flying.

I have to admit, eaglets would have my attention over the Twins. We have a pretty good aviary in our backyard. We get roosting owl once in a while, along with assorted finches, mocking birds, blue jays, and, of course, doves.

Only took a year of daily trolling to sign up.. but figured what the hell.. i figure i now know what BABIP is.. so i'm safe to sign up. Lets see how we handle this series after a couple of so-so ones vs the Sox and brew crew.

I don't watch them live -- not close enough to the river.  Mostly what we get are robins and starlings.

The eaglets are here:

Amazing views (although they are a little boring at times).  I like it when the siblings pick at each other like real sibs.

Just doesn't seem to be the same pitcher he was a year ago.

I don't know if it is physical or if he needs Rick Anderson.

Do the Twins have the guts to send Hughes to the bullpen when Santana comes back? Better yet, do they have the balls to send Nolasco to the bullpen and leave Milone up?

I guess no on both :(

Someone mentioned that we should bring back Anderson to ONLY talk to Hughes, let Allen work with the rest of them.

I'm sure Rick is looking for work :D

I think you've made a good guess.

It's a glitch … for those using Firefox. If you use a double space after punctuation, it shows no space when you post. The trick is to use only one space after punctuation, then it reverts to normal. Those of us who once upon a time used actual typewriters, both manual and electric, were taught to use a double space after punctuation. So, it's difficult for us to revert to the one-space methodology which I have been told is standard and correct. Right, Brock?

Edit: And, incidentally, there wasn't an issue for me using Chrome or Safari, so … and I think I have since learned to type only one-spaced after punctuation.

oooh I will have to try Twins Daily on mozilla now :)

All these former Twins like to beat up on us... first Carlos Gomez single-handedly defeated us, and now Morales.

At least we got to ruin one of Liriano's starts. That was fun.  :go:

Hughesie needs to be reminded that he's not un New York anymore. He's got a pitcher's ballpark to work with, and a fuzzy-wuzzy Minnesota media covering him. We even got rid of the pinstripes.

Are you near the river or big body of water? (I know you are in Iowa but no need to divulge too much if you don't want to)

Keep reading.  I live high and dry.  Just watching the eagle cam.

I live about 10 miles from a river that does have eagles but mostly I'm on endless prairie.
