JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Let's start a rally toward another one!
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 That's exactly what you do when it's the White Sox. It would be better if the were WS fans on here. Particularly Hawk.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 If we do manage to win this game (and by saying 'if' I avoid the jinx), I'm going out and buying a little whisk broom and presenting it to the crew at work. Although most of them are too into the Bulls and Hawks right now that there is no attention on baseball at all, even the Cubs.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Is CWS this bad...or are we this good? A little of both, I think. Twins are better than they were the first week. Sox are just bad.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Is CWS this bad...or are we this good?Yes. Somehow I feel like I'm the White Sox announcer shouting "Touch 'em all."
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Is CWS this bad...or are we this good?Um, yes?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Is CWS this bad...or are we this good? I'll let Chief answer that
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 How long will that last? And assuming it doesn't, will the deficit increase or decrease?yes.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I do wonder if all the mixing and matching of line-ups and positions isn't keeping people fresher and making it more fun for everyone. And, winning begets winning.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Herrmann will reach on a fielding error.
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 The Sox have been laughably bad this series.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Um, yes?I was tempted to pull an anti-Chief and just say 'No'
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 If nobody volunteers, you'll have to choose for us. What would you say to me choosing you?
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Lol Chicago defense.... LOL. If I wanted to watch this I could go watch a rec league game down the street.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 The future starting third baseman for the MN Twins is the current starting third baseman for the Twins.
mikeee Provisional Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Wow, everyone in the Twins lineup is currently over the mendoza line!!!!
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 This would be a perfect time for Danny's first walk.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 This would be a perfect time for Danny's first walk. But a single is even better!!!!
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Alright. I need a walk and a Torii Hunter grand slam.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 The future starting third baseman for the MN Twins is the current starting third baseman for the Twins.Hardly, Sano is the future, Plouffe is the one moving to the outfield.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I do wonder if all the mixing and matching of line-ups and positions isn't keeping people fresher and making it more fun for everyone. And, winning begets winning. I've thought it and said it many times during the Gardenhire tenure. You have a roster of 25... Play them... Play the hot hand. Don't keep putting the cold guy on the lineup card because he's supposed to be better. If Shane Robinson is hitting the ball... Play him. If Mauer is in a tailspin... Let him feel some Pine. There was no reason for Gardy to just kill Parmelee like he did. I've been very happy with Molitors use of the entire team so far. Although... I would like to see Nunez in the lineup a little more. (I now duck as people throw things at me)
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 What would you say to me choosing you?I'd love it, but I might not be able to. And then you'd be in for it.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Hardly, Sano is the future, Plouffe is the one moving to the outfield.I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Hardly, Sano is the future, Plouffe is the one moving to the outfield.Plouffe in the outfield.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 What would you say to me choosing you? I second that... Always 33 would do a great job setting up the game thread!!!
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 This is the funnest I've had watching Twins baseball in a long time.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 So, Ventura … on the hot seat … if the ChiSox keep losing like this … how soon before he's fired? And, just what if … Gardy is named the new manager (although I don't think for one second this will ever happen, but it's my 'what if' so I'm saying it) … do you boo him when he comes to town next with the ChiSox?
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I second that... Always 33 would do a great job setting up the game thread!!!Well, thank you...But what are my recommendations? I'd have stage fright for sure.
