Parker Hageman Site Manager Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 At US Cellular Field last night, the White Sox marketing team seemed to have been a little lazy or drunk or something. Check out the "fact" they splayed on their jumbotron about first baseman Andy Wilkins: http://i.imgur.com/lUUbnzG.jpg Ooooh. Interesting. (h/t @thebaseballgirl)

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 And by the look of the left field bleachers, apparently more people will see this Andy Wilkins factoid here on Twins Daily (and Twitter) than at the Cell last night. McDonald's, Pepsi, and Miller Lite extend their thanks to you.

IowaTwin346 Provisional Member Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Reminds me of some of Wally Hollands great facts:On Jerry Johnson: Last year though, he was sixth in the American League in hitting right-handers he was facing for the first time...after the seventh inning...at home! An interesting side note: that's the 14th one-run game for the Tigers already this season, tops for any team north of the Mason-Dixon Line, whose home games are not played in a dome. Lou, by the way, has hit .416 lifetime versus Hanley in the month of September in even years, so that certainly bodes well for this at-bat

Then I see a comment like this, and I know that there is nothing I could be doing that would be more productive or interesting.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 The Sox should just embrace this. I'd love to see a team that displayed inane nonsense for every at-bat. I'd be far more likely to look at it that way anyway.

Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 You can put it on the boarddddd!!!!
