Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Plouffe. Nuff said.I figured you'd find your way in to make a post after that.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Plouffe. Nuff said.Vargas not turning the DP didn't help either.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I don't know... But I'm betting Glunn is a Boxer guy. He likes dogs. This is what I would like to see. Glunn does a remake of Lionel Richie's All Night Long Music Video, but instead of it taking place on the street and having human beings in it, it takes place at a Dog Birthday Party and dogs replace the humans. I think that would be pretty damn awesome. I can envision it in my mind as I type this. P.S. Sorry Glunn, I'm still obsessed with Dog Birthday Parties.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 He can't bunt, but Schafer can sure run.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I doubt the Twins could have turned 3-6-3 DP. Maybe if he touched first and threw home.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Brian, you must really love Schafer. His uniform is really dirty.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 ESPN tells me the 3rd baseman made an error. Maybe we can make the Birds pay for their previous perfidy.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 I doubt the Twins could have turned 3-6-3 DP. Maybe if he touched first and threw home.Yeah. Maybe. Definitely 'more upset' with the Plouffe error.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 With the Dozier K, I now doubt the Twins will score this inning.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Mauer really needs to come through for us here.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 With the Dozier K, I now doubt the Twins will score this inning.Mauer doubter.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I can't help myself but that broke so many rules of improv.Yeah... Like I said... The Students weren't very good. You're a letter carrier delivering mail to Joe Mauer who is at home nursing a bruised pancreas... So you are Joe Mauer and you are the doctor... GO Mailman: Good afternoon Joe... Here's your mail for today. I counted them... 75 letters... That's down from the 300 a day you were getting last year. Joe: It's not your job... To count how many pieces of mail I get. Mailman: Actually it is... I'm a mailman. Doctor: Hello... I'm a doctor... Is there anything I can do to help.Joe: yeah... My pancreas has landed me on the DL and I make 23 million dollars a year. Mailman: take your shirt off... Let me take a look at it. Doctor: you dropped some mail... It's addressed to Joe. Here ya Go. Joe: that's 78 letters now. Mailman... Yeah... your pancreas is inflamed. You're gonna have to be shut down for the rest of the year.Joe: I'll tell Terry Ryan. Doctor: here are a couple more letters.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 YES!!!!!!!!! And stringer? Nyah nyah.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 With the Dozier K, I now doubt the Twins will score this inning. Not any more!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Brian, you must really love Schafer. His uniform is really dirty. And don't forget... He's fast... I like fast and dirty.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Man, between Schafer and Santana, we have us some runners for a change.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 And don't forget... He's fast... I like fast and dirty.Sheesh, no comment. Lol
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Mauer saving the day for Hughes and us! Gotta love it.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 I really loved the running that inning. That is the kind of game I like to see. Runners, a well-placed hit (to Delmon) then GO!
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Dustin Morse @Twins_morsecode · now Mauer entered play today having swung at the first pitch just 12.3% of the time. He hit Andrew Miller's 1st offering & drove in 2. #MNTwins
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 3 3-run innings all set up by 3B misplays. Miller has been lights out this year except when facing the Twins.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Plouffe playing ball. Keep that stuff up... Trevor
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Okay, credit given where credit due ... Nice play, Plouffe. Eh, Halsey?
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I want the Twins to have a + .500 record in September. I am always hopeful when Hughes pitches. Looks like you're about to become the Make A Wish happy story for September so far.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Nice play by the 3rd baseman to end the 8th. Now let Hughes go for the CG.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Btw, Halsey, I'm here in Ft. Myers. Gonna go to the game on Wednesday at JetBlue.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I had to post that twice as the first didn't post or I'da beaten you to it!
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I wonder what kind of a crowd the Miracle will get to the game. Jet Blue should be fun, enjoy it!
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 One more job thingy... I worked at the Fotomat in the Magic Kingdom. Waited forever for my prints to come.
