JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 It's all my fault. Dozier is my "pick the stick" for this series .... and I was getting too big a lead.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 I thought Dozier was going to drive that one.
Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 If Mauer was a better clubhouse leader, Arcia would be playing better and would not need a day off. Quit trying to blame Arcia for Mauer's lack of leadership. This is very well done.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Dozier has easily been the Twins best player, but he was better last year in close and late situations.
Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Dustin Morse @Twins_morsecode 11m Trevor May's (@Trevmay54) line tonight at Triple-A Rochester: 8 IP, 0 R, 2 H, 11 K, 0 BB - 103 pitches vs. Paw Sox. Season ERA now at 2.66Twins uni, please!!!! He should probably stay at AAA so he can continue learning how to win.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 This is very well done. It would have earned a ban in a normal thread. +1.
WLFINN Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Of course he will hit one off the monster with the bases empty....that Mauer ugh
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Dozier has easily been the Twins best player, but he was better last year in close and late situations. So you're saying he was dogging it last year in normal situations?

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Strike two call on Dozier was horrible. Literally at his shoulders. Changed the at bat.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Burton sure seems to be in a lot of games lately. Must be because hes pitching well.
Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Would have earned a ban in a normal thread. +1. He definitely got me at first. It helped to see that RB liked it, and that it was just too absurd to be real.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 So you're saying he was dogging it last year in normal situations? I've always HATED that about Dozier
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 17, 2014 Author Posted June 17, 2014 Chicago Symphony-nude.Oh right. Good thing I'm not working that one. But unfortunately one of my colleagues will. And now I want to stab my eyes over the image. Thanks a lot, Chief.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 I intercepted a thrown fish at the Pike Place Market. Well done. Whiffed on the flying sockeye in my zone when visiting there, but in my defence, Far Side genius Gary Larson was there and was pointed out to me simultaneously by a very close friend. The hit to my UZR/150 rating was well worth the briefly-raised eyebrow of a guy who bore a striking resemblance to Socrates 'Johnson' of Bill and Ted fame.
longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 I'm going to be in your neck of the woods next month. I have a wedding and a CSN concert July 16. Gibby, you're in for a treat. I saw David Crosby at the Trobadour last month, and he is healthy and never sounded better...he's down 50 pounds since his heart issues last fall. Hopefully they turn Stills' mike off, because he's so deaf now he doesn't know he's off key.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 17, 2014 Author Posted June 17, 2014 Crosby Stills and Nash.Oh right. You mentioned this before I think. They are playing up at Ravinia?

WLFINN Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 They're not going to pinch run for him????????????

I'm going to be in Glunn's neck of the woods July 5 and 6th to see my kid play against Brazil. It'll be the first time I've seen her in her USA jersey on American soil.

Hails from Scotchland, if memory serves.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Burton sure seems to be in a lot of games lately. Must be because hes pitching well.Good call. According to BBRef, over the last 7 days coming into tonight he's limited hitters to a .792 OPS against, which is below his season total. So, relatively speaking, he's been pitching well lately...
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Hopefully they turn Stills' mike off, because he's so deaf now he doesn't know he's off key. Its getting to the point... Where he's no fun anymore.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 I normally don't ask Joe to swing for the fences, but leading off the ninth, down a run, try swinging for The Pole, no?
longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Mauer leading off again. This is why he has so few rbi's this year, since it's mathematically impossible to get an RBI if you're leading off. Unless...never mind
