Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 She just graduated from HS last week. She hasn't even had a practice with them yet. It's just an exhibition, she's nervous, but she will kick butt. It's a shame she is only 5'6". She is one of the best setters I have ever watched play. A Setter? That's her photo you use for your avatar? I thought she looked more like a Weimaraner.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 A Setter? That's her photo you use for your avatar? I thought she looked more like a Weimaraner. She's actually half Weimaraner and half Slovakian Rough Coated Pointer.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Just think how much more popular Catcher in the Rye would have been with a more suggestive title than one implying baseball and agriculture. I think I read Catcher in the Rye by accident. I thought it was about baseball and all it did was make me angry at John Lennon.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Well, looks like I need a bigger yard. Approves:

ashbury Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 She's actually half Weimaraner and half Slovakian Rough Coated Pointer. And half the German Shepherd from down the street who got loose that one night.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 She's actually half Weimaraner and half Slovakian Rough Coated Pointer. I was once a "Rough Coated Painter" so I got fired from my painting job.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 She's actually half Weimaraner and half Slovakian Rough Coated Pointer. Dont' worry. As long as she was born here, she's still a US citizen.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I was once a "Rough Coated Painter" so I got fired from my painting job.Don't quit your radio gig just yet, Bri.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 It took every available mod to break it up... Eh, Gibby has shown he can take a punch.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I think I read Catcher in the Rye by accident. I thought it was about baseball and all it did was make me angry at John Lennon. At least you didn't tell off your dad and leave home for good...
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 And half the German Shepherd from down the street who got loose that one night. She was actually bred that way for a reason. I don't hunt, but I let her go into the field with her siblings. They are actually pretty impressive, and she points like a champ.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I was once a "Rough Coated Painter" so I got fired from my painting job. You're not Slovakian. That's how they like 'em.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 If I'm not mistaken, the game TK is talking about is on in the background at Tom Cruise's house in A Few Good Men.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I was once a "Rough Coated Painter" so I got fired from my painting job. Where's the groan button?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Eh, Gibby has shown he can take a punch. No offense to Brian, but I wasn't worried about Gibby in this case.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 Okay ... closet done ... cleaning the bathrooms is next ... yes, more interesting than the game ... Welcome to the Twins, Señor Morales.
kydoty Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Anybody else turn away and thought they were just replaying the first grand slam?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 You're not Slovakian. That's how they like 'em. True... German and Norwegian... Shepherd and Elkhound I assume.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I need a much bigger yard.So does the Twins staff.

Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 No offense to Brian, but I wasn't worried about Gibby in this case. Yeah, don't scrap with the bipolar, they just wont quit no matter how beat up they get.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Hmmm... 2 grand slams. Things are looking pretty grim for a rubber game. Can we score 3 runs per out in this inning? I still hold out hope, especially with that aforementioned bench we can call on.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I need a much bigger yard. Maybe just save your money and mow the nice old lady's yard across the street during blowout losses to terrible teams.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Can he pitch? If you've got an hour to kill, stick around and you might find out...
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Maybe just save your money and mow the nice old lady's yard across the street during blowout losses to terrible teams. We took care of the elderly couple next door for a couple years. Took them to the store, mowed, weeded, shoveled snow...When they passed away, they left us their house, much to the chagrin of their 3 children, all of whom lived in town, and I had never laid eyes on.

Wow... That must have felt a little strange. Nice... But strange.
