Yeah... But he didn't bleed!

I pruned my hedges this week, and looked like I'd been ravaged by a pack of cats.

If I'm allowed to show pride for a moment. My son just showed me a letter.

In the letter it says that he made the UND school of medicine and health sciences Dean's list.

What a great accomplishment Brian. Congrats. It's nice to get validation that we aren't totally screwing it up.

I don't know if Dozier makes the All-Star game. Lots of great 2B choices. But... I think its possible that Suzuki may be there.

You are funny. Fortunately I get paid by the hour to endure such meetings. Also, I did not mind the fact that my client is drop dead gorgeous.

My Mom calls me. I tell her the Twins are killing the Yankees. She says, well why didn't you call me and tell me, and hangs up.

Yeah... I'll be smiling for at least a week or until he breaks the lawnmower or something.

I have girls, so I have repaired the springs on about 50 curling irons in the last 20 years.

I'm fairly certain that Willingham could play as active a SS as Jeter these days

When even your arch-enemies pity you, you know you stayed too long...

Gibby... I can only imagine... How many mornings you waited for a bathroom.

Congrats to your son! Is he studying to be a doctor?

Cuddyer was DLed after his helmet incident.

Speaking of drop-dead gorgeous, I enoyed "Intolerable Cruelty" with Catherine Zeta-Jones and George Clooney. It's a little light, but CZJ is truly drop-dead gorgeous.

Nolasco allows almost two baserunners per inning and only gives up one run? Witchcraft.

He's been watching Gibson and Deduno.

Respect for Arcia's arm already growing. Rope into the corner and McCann doesn't even make a big turn. Granted he's a catcher and all, but...

Edit: scooped by chitown, but making up for being late with a bonus question: At some point, will Arcia attempt to throw out a runner at first, ala Larry Walker's Montreal days?

He was probably worried about breaking an unwritten rule and then having to confront himself about it.

Those who say arms don't matter should take note of tonight. Arcia saved at least one run, but arguably two with two absolute rockets.

I remember liking that movie. I thought Clooney was actually pretty funny. And yeah, Catherine Zeta-Jones is gorgeous.

Some of the arms today... Are off the charts. Arm strength is at whole new level.

You know, Gardy is smarter sometimes than I give him credit for. I wanted to rip him for wasting Perk in a non-save situation, but he's looking ahead to tomorrow's Tanaka/Correia matchup, and realizing he ain't gonna need Perk tomorrow. Giving Perk a little work tonight is the right move.
