Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Well, at least they got out of that inning only giving up one.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 They are good... I'll give you an 8 out of 10. For the full 10... You will need Bo Derek or the actual Terry Ryan pounding the table.Actually Bo Derek was always just OK... I always thought there were better 10's... So that won't work either. There's got to be some game set-up material in there
howeda7 Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 No, Twins management just needs to tell their employee Ron Gardenhire that his concerns are nonsense and counterproductive to the future of the club. If he has a problem with that, he can resign. Either call up Hermann or fire Gardy. At this point those are the options. The mishandling of Pinto is unforgivable at this point.

longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Back to back home run games for the Hammer is a really good sign. Big difference with Arcia and him in the middle of the lineup. Don't we have a rookie catcher that's supposed to be kind of strong too?
Hawkeye12 Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Hammer looks healthy for the first time in forever. Nice to see a legit power hitter again, and he's even moving better in left field.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Interesting stat-the Twins have hit 40 homers and allowed ......40 homers.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Author Posted May 31, 2014 If Hammer can be 2012 like... We got a guy who can help us in the stretch run... That's right... I said stretch run!!! or a trade chip that yields more than Doritos.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Big changes in the Twins lineup tonight, but I don't want to steal fellow WindyCity-ite, Chitown's, Lineup Thunder. I love the Snake Plissken reference, by the way.btw, fellow Windy City-ite? You live in Chicago?

LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Eyelid... stitches? Did I hear that right? Hope it doesn't hurt his ability to breathe through it...
Longdistancetwins Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I'm good luck--just tuned in with Hammer at bat! Here in NYC I turned on the New York Rangers game on the radio last night the second they scored the only goal.
Hawkeye12 Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I thought Hicks was hurt? Well... Seems as if he's not. There goes the retroactive DL idea. He pinch ran last night, and took BP today.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I thought Hicks was hurt? Well... Seems as if he's not. There goes the retroactive DL idea.He pinch ran yesterday, so it was out the window yesterday.
Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Yankee Stadium is such a bandbox. Plouffe looked like he barely hit that.
Hawkeye12 Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 OK, I like this Yankee Stadium place when we hit the home runs.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 If Hammer can be 2012 like... We got a guy who can help us in the stretch run... That's right... I said stretch run!!! or a trade chip that yields more than Doritos. um, pass me the trade chips please
Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Plouffe's HR makes me so, so optimistic that Hughes is gonna win the Cy Young this year.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Mind boggling to see the Twins with a 3-run lead in Yankee Stadium.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Arcia impressive at the plate tonight...
