sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Yup. That one. Someplace down town (SF Opera House?) was performing it, and folk could watch a simultaneous telecast on the big screen in center field for free. Can't say i'm particularly well versed in opera*, though when they got to that song, it did sound familiar. So i guess tragedy in AT&T (i want to say ATAT) field isn't foreign to my experience... *-unless you count Gilbert and Sullivan...
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Does anyone notice that Toyota is going out of their way to show the Toyota Spokes-lady is pregnant. And usually a kid in most commercials. Madison Avenue is subliminally tricking us. Buy Toyota... Keep your family safe.

MichiganTwins Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I thought Parmalee was doing better than his BA at the moment.

Kinda like Bach Cello suite no.1 You may not know what they are by title but when you hear it... You know you've heard it before.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Hmm, I'm done with buying plastic cars. Obviously not falling for the Soccer Mom bit... Good for you. Wait... You drive... A... Umm... You drive a Mini Cooper.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Hmm, I'm done with buying plastic cars. Me too, unless it's shaped like a Corvette.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Me too, unless it's shaped like a Corvette. Dodge Dart for me!!! I'm totally satisfied
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2014 Author Posted May 24, 2014 Obviously not falling for the Soccer Mom bit... Good for you. Wait... You drive... A... Umm... You drive a Mini Cooper.I don't consider a solid steel frame made by BMW plastic.
Twins Twerp Provisional Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Parmalee above average outfielder? Hahahahahaha
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Me too, unless it's shaped like a Corvette. ...but only because I'm insecure about the size of my boat.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I don't consider a solid steel frame made by BMW plastic. No... But you could accidentally trip over it.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2014 Author Posted May 24, 2014 No... But you could accidentally trip over it.Well, I didn't say I was through buying cars I can trip over.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Lotta Atom Balls tonight Yeah, we should string some hits together... Make us some organic molecules... Or maybe hit 'em where they ain't.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Well, I didn't say I was through buying cars I can trip over. That was funny... You also get a +4
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Just catching up with the game....not the Twins' best. Actually Gibson was sharper than Lincecum, but Sansaball (oh Bert!) had a big hit. The Twins haven't had that big hit today and man, they've had opportunities.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Yeah Gardy wii have a lot of things to gloss over in the post game interview.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Two comments on Parmelee--his at-bat against the lefty was pretty impressive. If he can do that, he'll hit for a pretty good average and perhaps set it up that more pitches are in that down and in power zone. A faster OF catches the triple, but with that deep, deep alley it was do or die and he didn't make the play.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Two more chances to put something together...
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I'm dogsitting for my neighbor. this thing was a Katrina dog, and on it's own for 4 months before he was taken in. I swear to Gawd, that this guy is grateful. He has zero training, but a great personality. Not unlike the missus.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I've decided... For the rest of my life... When's it time to by a new car... I'm gonna buy the cheapest car with the most options in it. If I had a cardboard box with an 8.4 inch touchscreen and a back up camera. I'm doing it.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2014 Author Posted May 24, 2014 I can't stand the back up camera on my parents' car.

It was a tough ball... Revere would have run it down.

I think I might take up this philosophy with future relationships.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2014 Author Posted May 24, 2014 It's hard to see Cola flailing as he is.

And the Dog probably couldn't understand the Cajun accent.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2014 Author Posted May 24, 2014 Esco, we needed that when bases were loaded.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I can't stand the back up camera on my parents' car. It's the one thing on my Bentley that drives me insane.
