After one, a WHIP of 2.0 and an ERA of 0.00.

I predict those can't stay the same.

Maybe I'm a pitching fan, but I thought the ump's zone was very tight. I thought he threw strike three to Kipness.

It would be nice to line up Gibby with a big zone ump sometime. Unfortunately I don't think we know the umpire assignments until the series starts.

So tempted to edit this to correct it to Gray Duck! And you're from Minnesota????

I finally figured it out! (gosh, i'm slow)

Goose is also a term for an inappropriate pinch. Riverbrian goosed us good, with that...

I guess that's why they call it a way-homer...

Speakin' of which, back to what's important (and i'll ketchup reading intervening posts in the meantime...)

a 3-0 lead!

I couldn't understand the complaining about Mauer's D during ST, but the first ball hit to him wasn't pretty. He clearly is going to take more time to adjust than I thought. Nice play by Dozier.

Uhh... the invisibility part was cool, but I'd keep my clothes on with the small chance of my invisibility suddenly not working anymore. ;)

Unless, of course, it's The Ghost In The Invisible Bikini, in which case, the ghost is visible, and the bikini is not. Sadly, what's under the bikini is also not visible. So there's your choice. :P

Do we keep stats of getting runners in from third with less than two out? I would think that is something that just making contact could improve greatly. Hey, nice baserunning by Plouffie!

Baseballreference does

http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/MIN/2013-batting.shtml

Twins were 125/291 (43%) in those spots last year

The Cardinals, who were maybe the most "clutch" of any team, were 188/353 (53%)

And here's a link to the league splits for that situation.
