No one will take the obvious grief that will accompany the following 800 or so words. I guess in some way it makes sense. I do hold the distinction for having the least reliable and most obnoxious Twins blog in the stratosphere (using a word like stratosphere is obnoxious). Although, I am more known for putting Twins player heads on bird bodies and writing about
A guy falls in to an eight foot deep hole while at work. His boss comes along and the guy says, “hey boss can you get me out of here?” The boss says, “Things are pretty tight around here so we can’t afford to buy a ladder, but we have this old shovel sitting around. I’ll throw it down and you can dig yourself out.” It takes a long time, but after a lot of trial and error (sometimes even digging in the wrong place and making the hole deeper) our guy manages to dig himself out of the ho
Good afternoon, all. This is my first blog here at Twins Daily. Today, I would like to talk about our man Justin Morneau. I would like to hear some opinions, I'm sure there will be many. My questions are: Does Morneau return to Minnesota? What would you pay him if up to you? If not MN, where does Justin go? Is this team better without him? Please feel free to share your thoughts, I will listen to all opinions whether I agree with them or not.

We talk a little bit about May and Meyer pitching FAST, and Buxton, Rosario and Kepler making their AFL debuts. We spend some time discussing Wisconsin beer and Ginger Whiskey before we do a quick dive through the MLB postseason. Thanks for listening! Sou
Originally posted at K-Slow was Framed! YOYOYO everybody! The offseason is upon us and the Twins have a lot of work to do. Coming off of another raging failure, the Front Office will need to pull off some sweet moves in order to make this team a contender. I have no clue what they will do and I have no desire to guess (at least not until later). Instead, I thought it would be fun to head back down Memory Lane and analyze each offseason since the Twins' last World Series. I'm not going to
First what is good about the Twins? 1 Middle infield Florimon and Dozier....No change needed, Florimon needs to hit more but if he doesnt his defense warrants his inclusion 2 3b- Plouffe didnt have great numbers but I think his hitting is passable...we dont have to make a change here...I would like to see Mauer trained to play 3rd...also Mauer in outfield....would be great, can he play center? I wouldnt bet against him..he certainly can be a lead off hitter 3- C -Pinto says it all, but can

Originally posted at The Slow I can't believe that October is upon us! The 2013 season went by so quickly. I am already enjoying playoff baseball and I thought that while I enjoy playoff baseball, I could answer a few questions that have been burning a hole in my inbox. As always, these are actual questions from actual readers of the Word documents that I use to compose my rough drafts. What is your outlook for the 2014 Twins? Brad S., St. Paul, MN Initially, I thought that 2014 would
It has been a while since I have written a blog on this site, as I have been almost obsessively following the exploits of the Minnesota Vikings over on the Daily Norseman (and if you are a Vikings fan, head over there. The DN writing staff rivals the one here on Twins Daily). I have been popping in here from time to time, but I have found that following a team that has been losing as much as the Twins is hard on my spirit, so I have for the most part stayed away. Now that the season is over, I t
Bud Selig is leaving as baseballs commissioner at the end of the season in 2014. Good Riddance!!!! I haved spoke about how Bud Selig destroyed some of my modern day baseball. He helped destroy 2 of my favorite baseball players growing up, Jose Canseco and Ken Griffey Jr. I am not going to go into details surrounding those two players, but I thought it would be fun to give me the job for a day and tell you what I would change in the game if I got the chance. Now I don't know all of the deta
I am not a follower of Donald Trump. I have participated in several no kings rallies and am disgusted with what he and his followers have done to our country and the world. I would like to know what most Brazilians feel about the United States now and about the folks our citizens have elected to represent us.
