The bullpen is weak, and Pagan the worst of the bunch. With a team that scores 2 or less runs often the pen has to be almost perfect. Not a chance with Pagan in there.

I can’t see Gallo having much of a year. Duran should be our closer. Gray, Ryan and López could all have big years. Buxton is a bust.

Button and Correa are not here yet. They keep us on our toes this year not knowing what time they practice, 9 am, 11am and 1 pm. Some guys sign when done. Some don’t, same as always, “later”. It’s hot here. Monday they say we will be able to get under the stands by the bullpen , that will be a relief.

He threw live batting practice yesterday.

I agree with Reusse here. Perhaps being the same age has got. Something to do with it. We both grew up with what I’ll call “pure” baseball. So much has changed, but you don’t trade a batting champ.
