  1. I like not having 6th and 7th round picks. The 5th round isn't a good spot to be in, but the guys you want in the 6th and 7th are likely to be available as UDFAs anyway.
  2. Also, next Name That Twin contest needs to be this guy:
  3. Is that Michael Cuddyer playing somewhere in the infield at the Metrodome?
  4. With the above said, Jerry Jones, who is the only owner who loves attention more than winning, is totally going to draft Sanders tomorrow.
  5. OK, WR wasn't what I was thinking, but the last Maryland WR they drafted worked out pretty well.
  6. Ugh. I stand by everything I just said about Shedeur Sanders above. But......if he sits for a year without making a scene, I bet you can flip him for a late 1st next year due to the KOC hype, even if that hype is misplaced. Screw that, go get somebody I want!
  7. Wait, they weren't just going to replace Harrison Smith by drafting a safety, but by drafting another Notre Dame safety?!? That does sound about right. But I like the trade. 142 will still have some interesting names, More than 187.
  8. Also, come on Steelers. I like Tomlin and I like the organization, but they are SO STUBBORN. Kaleb Johnson? So they finally part ways with Najee Harris, who was fine, but not a feature back in an offense that stubbornly wants to only run the ball. Then they draft a Najee Harris clone? I'm sure Johnson will be *fine, but if they refuse to develop a passing game, you better do more than fine running the ball.
  9. I know you guys want the thumpers, but I think that's Aaron Jones now. I'm still betting on them going after a shifty pass catcher. But I'm not putting more money on that than I am on them skipping a meaningful RB pick all together and disappointing us.
  10. Right. Or the University of Colorado for that matter. I mean they were one of the most talked about teams in the nation despite being in an average team in a bad conference. If they truly have the two best players in the country, they go undefeated in that conference. Instead they lost to the only good teams they played and beat FCS NDSU by 4 yards. Yes, 4 yards. Meanwhile, no one talked about Jaxson Dart until two weeks ago despite him leading Ole Miss to back-to-back ten win seasons for the first time in 65 years in a brutal SEC, while putting up similar passing numbers and having actual mobility assets. That's not so much a Dart promotion as it is saying that Sanders never had any legit reason to get more hype than these other uninspiring QBs in this class.
  11. Yeah, I don't want my favorite team having to deal with the circus that will come with the player. So many ways to absolutely poison the locker room and fan base, all because of what his dad does and says.. As for his on the field ability; I think his ceiling is that of the dreaded 'game manager'. He doesn't have the big arm or elusiveness to be the improvising gun-slinger type. Probably a higher floor than the other QBs, but I don't see any chance he has the upside to carry a team to a championship, he just doesn't have the physical tools.
  12. I mean, Ward was the first to go. As a Viking fan I wouldn't want anything to do with Sanders and I'm about as liberal as you get.
  13. Thrilled Henderson went to the Patriots one pick before Chicago. I did not want him going to the Bears.
  14. This season? Man, I hate to be the one to tell you this after waking up from your three year coma, but he's actually been bad every year. Oh, and your wife left you and your dog died.
  15. There likely will still some really nice looking RBs in R3, but the guys I personally like, basically prospective pass catchers, will go even lower. Dylan Sampson and Brashard Smith. Jacquez Hunter might get the job done out in space too. I know they aren't the top names, but Henderson and Judkins won't be there when the Vikings pick next and a quick, pass catcher is what I'd want in a back..
  16. I liked Campbell and would have been happy with that pick, but ceiling isn't exactly something to evaluate with an OL. Do they even have a ceiling? He can't score more touchdowns or get more sacks or get more receptions. A pancake block isn't functionally any better than a normal block. Their 'ceiling' is all the same, did he keep the defender off of the RB or QB? This position is a pass/fail grade on every play. If anyone has some college info that says he can't do that as well as Booker or Zabel, I guess I'd be interested in that data.
  17. They always get the big named defensive guy who slides. Usually it's out of Georgia.
  18. Time for these guys to retire the indignant 'I can't believe this guy went when this other guy is still there!' bit. Like their opinion is consensus. Except then you look at another site and the guy who the first expert irrationally loves, is still listed as 15th in BPA.
  19. Is anyone complaining? Seemed like a well received pick here.
  20. I bet Washington goes with Burden or one of the OSU RBs. They're going to want to start giving Daniels some weapons.
  21. You're going to have to be more specific, you're talking about the Giants.
  22. Now I'm going to have to go through pages and pages of posts to brag about saying Dart was going before Sanders like four months before it was cool. But beer is making me lazy, so maybe tomorrow.
  23. Seems like a reach. Buuut, if this guy is a college tackle that will move to guard, maybe he's Darrisaw insurance.
  24. OK, I like Campbell and Henderson. Otherwise I'd trade down, but I could live with Emmanwori. Anyone but Will Johnson. If they pick another injured CB and then act shocked that he can't play, KAM needs to be shown the door.
  25. No Golden. I didn't care for him myself though. Seems like one of those guys you only use to run down the field but doesn't get used much otherwise. I like Luther Burden better. But would rather go TreVeyon Henderson if we're going the 'loaded offense' approach.
