  1. Get out of this inning under 90 pitches and maybe Lopez goes out again.
  2. OK, Kep is shaking off the heat better than Polanco.
  3. Just looked it up. A-Rod did take Slowey deep twice in seven ABs.
  4. No kidding. One played for the Astros, the other for the Rockies.
  5. A-Rod making a Kevin Slowey joke? Man, that's dated.
  6. Ok, watching the replay, why wasn't Correa backing up Polanco on that play to begin with? Bichette would have never tried for home had Correa been drifting over to backup Polanco to begin with. I guess I won't complain about the ol' rope-a-dope though.
  7. Pretty sure Lewis on crutches could have not made that play too.
  8. Whew!!!! My lord, is this "curse" only relevant to Polanco???
  9. Too bad, and that's the only part of Florida that I like too.
  10. ***Spoiler Alert**** Streaming is so far behind, I saw this post and figure Lewis' leg probably fell off running out a ground ball.
  11. That strike three was a crap call, but I'm not going to assume the next at bat would have automatically resulted in the same pitches and swings to produce a sac fly to score a run.
  12. Man, I don't want to give him credit, but I think A-Rod nailed it. The Twins are ONLY swinging at the fastball, and they are hitting it well.
  13. I'm not sure he's wrong. And really I don't care, whether the hitters are doing well or a member of the staff figured it out, Gold Star for the Twins.
  14. I know he wasn't known for his bat, but just out of curiosity I looked up Ozzie Smith's career post season OPS. .617. .435 in his three World Series appearances. Eeesh.
  15. Yeah, didn't know I missed that until my foundation rattled after the Lewis HR. Quite the nostalgia.
  16. And to think, that was before he ever faced Royce Lewis.
  17. If so, they may want to start picking up tips on left handers too.
  18. Let's get another run, and more importantly, get Gausman to 40 pitches this inning.
  19. Varsho take a knee to the berries on that collision?
