  1. This is a huge win. My favorite so far this year.
  2. Castro should have taken more time with that throw.
  3. Twins batters should be wearing more body armor against a pitcher who is this wild.
  4. This is my nominee for best game of the year, so far.
  5. His raw stuff seems above average, and he had some bad luck in the third inning. I would be inclined to give him one more start in the hope that he can adjust to the show.
  6. I remember when Killebrew injured his hamstring in an All Star game. Also, I would like to see Lewis get some rest during the break.
  7. Another sickening loss, and the Twins' starters are not looking good.
  8. Great article. I found this -- https://sabr.org/bioproj/person/jim-merritt/
  9. Paddack having a great day. A complete game would be nice.
  10. No point risking Buxton any more in this game/fiasco, and Rocco should let the worst pitchers finish this (or a position player).
  11. That's hilarious. Why are you reading enemy fan sites?
  12. This is from the Wikipedia page for YES-- "In March 2023, YES launched a direct-to-consumer streaming service that included access to a 24/7 feed of YES Network and all New York Yankees, Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty games appearing on YES. The service is only available in areas where YES is also featured on local cable. The service costs $24.99 per month or $239.99 a year, but was initially offered for an introductory price of $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year.[26]" That seems pricey to me, but it includes two other sports. I wonder how much they make on advertising.
  13. Why can't the Twins create their own network along the lines of the Yankee's YES network? Cut out the middlemen and the ad revenues might exceed what they were getting last year. This would require a lot of work and business expertise, but it seems worth exploring.
  14. This seems like great news. Thanks for sharing.
  15. Maybe he should look for a place that has a lot of lakes?
