IMHO Willi Castro was essentially our team MVP a year ago and continues to be an important puzzle piece that Rocco can fit into any number of places like no one else on any roster in the Twins system. Extend him please.

Good write-up Ted and good luck kid!

Culpepper was doing his best M. C. Hammer impersonation on Sunday ("Can't touch this") and really looked sharp. If he and Prielipp can stay healthy and if Walker Jenkins get promoted, things could bode quite well for the Kernels during the second half.

It's hard not to cheer for the guy.

Same old, same old cheap Pohlads...it's like beating a dead horse. Is that all you've got?

We are on our baseball road trip in Davenport, Iowa, and I can't wait to see Prielipp start for the Kernels tonight.

Good luck kid, but I disagree on your thoughts on the electronic strike zone. It's coming.

I really enjoy these "get to know" segments, good luck kid!
  9. nclahammer
Camargo for sure. A third catcher right now is a luxury and the kid needs consistent at bats.

Very nice interview. Good luck kiddo!

Reminiscent of the infamous Brian Dozier dugout bathroom incident of 2017. https://www.facebook.com/TheMLBMemes/photos/1142919802475548 I guess we could say Joe was caught up in the "heat" of the moment?

So well deserved, congratulations to Willi Castro! IMHO he was our team MVP last season and he's picked up right where he left off.

Reminds me of the Twins getting catcher Jair Camargo as a throw in of sorts from the Dodgers in the Kenta Maeda trade. A very nice under the radar move.

An Eddie Rosario sighting in the Twin Citites? I know he was struggling with the Nationals and it's good to see him get another chance with the Brave's organization. As erratic as he could be at times, Eddie Rosario will remain one of my favorite all-time Minnesota Twins.

Great write up, we were at the game and I had not seen a pitcher play a different position and remain in the game since the universal DH rule. Classy move by Louie Varland after the game, he didn't have the best night on the mound, but he came out to sign autographs for kids/fans and visit after the game.

Umm...two walks and zero Ks on Tuesday night.

Excellent write-ups Steve, Morris is really dealing again for the Twins. Saw him last season in Cedar Rapids and he's got the goods.

So glad to have C4 in the red, white, & blue of the Minnesota Twins. We choose wisely.

Jair Camarago is coming back from an injury and rehab stint and is beginning to get back into the flow of things with the Saints. I think he will provide some value/depth to the Minnesota Twins this summer/fall.

Awesome review NIck, keep on playing fundamentally good baseball & keep barreling it up and I think the Twins will be just fine.

"After becoming the Bomba Squad in 2019, I doubt the Twins hoped to become the Bruise Squad. " My nominee for best nickname for this squad if this record-setting pace continues is The Bruise Brothers (of Dan Akroyd and John Bulushi fame.) Please stay safe my Twins.

Jenkins seems to be in a bit of a funk down in Ft. Myers since coming back from his injury. Hopefully, he can literally get back into the swing of things and get going.

Terriffic story Cody and a guy easy to root for. Look forward to seeing him play for the Kernels in July when we head to Iowa for our baseball road trip.

Good to see Gabriel Gonzalez starting his rehab in Florida, looking forward to seeing him and the Kernels in person in July. Lee will be making his MLB debut soon and Wallner his another dinger (and also had three Ks.) As Larnach cools off, I could see he and Wallner doing a switcheroo.

Thank you for sharing your travels through Pittsburgh with us...almost felt like I was there with you at times. PNC Park is towards to the top of my baseball bucket list, grew up a huge Willie Stargell fan. Thanks for the scoop.
