  1. Good to see Gabriel Gonzalez starting his rehab in Florida, looking forward to seeing him and the Kernels in person in July. Lee will be making his MLB debut soon and Wallner his another dinger (and also had three Ks.) As Larnach cools off, I could see he and Wallner doing a switcheroo.
  2. Thank you for sharing your travels through Pittsburgh with us...almost felt like I was there with you at times. PNC Park is towards to the top of my baseball bucket list, grew up a huge Willie Stargell fan. Thanks for the scoop.
  3. I like all of the specific details in the various aspects of the uniforms...red baseball stitches for the eyes of the loon, the ripples of varying hues of blue coming from different directions in the jersey, the unifying MN, and the wicked logo on the front of the cap. And no day on the lake is complete without taking time to enjoy a gorgeous sunset. The colors...they're all there...in varying degrees of subtlety.
  4. I like the look, interesting combinations and the stories behind them. Every team is doing them folks, enough of the "cheap" Pohlad bashing, and come up with something original for a change (like these jerseys.) I'll be cheering for the Minnesota Twins no matter what jerseys they're wearing.
  5. Cool beans, I must have missed that. Thanks for correcting, I may have aplayer or two to add as well.
  6. Doug Simons was drafted by, but never played for the Minnesota Twins. Curious as to why he's included on the Twins Daily Players Project?
  7. Why is Doug Simons listed on the Twins Daily Players Project? I can't see that he ever played for the Minnesota Twins. What's up with that?
  8. I remember that Brewers fans were not happy that Anderson skipped his final start to preserve the ERA title.
  9. One of the main purposes of rehab is to exert yourself in real-time game situations, including stealing bases. How are you going to know if your injury is healed enough unless you try it out in real game conditions/situations?
  10. Love the song...great memories of Bombo.
  11. I'm all for making the most out of opportunities, another chance that someone has been given. He looked alright at thirdbase to me (what a cannon he has, or I guess Provus called it a bazooka) and I wish Miguel Sano the best of luck this season, except of course, when he is playing our Minnesota Twins. Great write up Cody & TD.
  12. Wow guys...sexist much? Lexi has a terrific voice and I think she does a great job pre- and postgame for the Twins. I enjoy listening to her and what she looks like doesn't enhance or deter from that opinion.
  13. I watched a St. Paul Saints game last year with the robo umps and it was refreshing not to constantly see batters looking back at the ump or hear the chirping from the benches about a call. The home plate ump had a receiver on the back of her belt that relayed the call to her and then she made it. It was fluid and the game went along smoothly. The technology is there, why not use it.
  14. Great information Greggory, thanks for clearing up some of the gray-areas that I wasn't 100% sure of. Teams have a lot to think about when moving their chess pieces.
  15. One of my favorites from Twins Daily is your always thorough coverage of the Minnesota Twins minor leaguers working their way up to the bigs. As Carly Simon once sang, "Nobody Does it Better." Thanks TD!
  16. I did not know that Billy Beane took the field during the Twins 1987 World Series champs season. Good stuff.
  17. Good luck to Miguel Sano this season, except of course when he faces the Twins. Always liked him and wish him well.
  18. RandBallStu is either on-to-something or on-something, however the Atoms did set a precedence in football with Gus the Mule. Okay, enough horsing around and onto the film footage.
  19. I think the Twins could have resigned Michael A. Taylor (who they are very familiar with) for less money and hung onto to Noah Miller, who won a gold glove in Cedar Rapids last season, and whose bat was starting to come around. Unless Margot is so much better hitting lefties, this one is a head-scratcher to me.
  20. Thanks RandBalls Stu, my day is no longer unbearable.
