Saint Paul, Minnesota – All good things must come to an end. Louie Varland and the Saints were on the wrong end of history for the first time in a few weeks on Sunday. Saint Paul, Minnesota - The St. Paul Saints had three players on MLB Rehab Assignments in the lineup on Sunday afternoon. Byron Buxton sent a ball to the warning track in the bottom of the ninth but in the end, it was dominant Mud Hens pitching that helped Toledo get past the Saints 3-2 on Sunday afternoon in front of 6,003. For the first time since June 16th, nine innings was not enough to decide the game. The Saints offense collected eleven hits, along with the performance of Ryan the Saints defeated the Indianapolis Guardians 8-5 in front of 8,035.
