    Small sample size, but Lee is a lot better (or less bad) at 2B than SS. He's also slightly better than Keashall.

    It's time to call up Rodriguez and Culpepper and demote Wallner and Outman. Move Keashall to 1st and Lee to 2nd. That improves the defense at SS and 2B and maybe even at 1st. Also make Martin the everyday LF and leadoff hitter. Move Buxton to 5th or 6th. Rodriguez plays RF every day. Larnach and Bell platoon DH with Bell still maybe playing 1B and Larnach LF once per week.

    This loss is on Shelton. You can't use Banda there. As soon as Funderburk is back he should be gone. Ridiculous.

    Every player on the roster who isn't likely to help us in 2027 should be moved out. Those with trade value can stay until July. Guys like Outman, Gray, Kriedler etc. should be sent down immediately.

    All the more reason spending $14 million of limited funds on Bell and Caratini was foolish. Should have been spent on a closer like Kenley Jensen.

    Yes, but that is likely coming via how the local games are distributed. I expect it to be all via ESPN/Amazon/Netflix etc. in 3-4 years. I suppose the Yankees and Dodgers will fight it, so yes that's part of the CBA fight too.

    That isn't what I said. The new CBA has to have a salary cap, as every other league does.

    New revenue/ownership that allows the Twins to return payrolls to the $150-$160 million range and a new CBA that makes teams in that range competitive and ends $450 million payrolls at the top.

    If Rogers is the closer, doesn't that sort of take him out of the "lefty" equation? At current I think all four of them make the team.

    85-78 might be. I'm simply advocating that you replace Pablo as best you can and see how the 1st half plays out. You will likely get more for Ryan and Jeffers in July than you will now. If Pablo's arm went out on December 1st, it's a different discussion. A team suddenly doing a 180 and dumping players in February has pretty much never been done.
