    The continued presence of Mickey Gasper, Christian Vazquez, Chris Paddock and Rocco Baldelli in the Twins dugout is an insult to all Twins fans. On a completely dead-ass and lifeless team, they still stand out for their ineptitude and and inability to do their job at even the most basic level. If the organization has any pride, they should all be gone by Friday.

    The Pohlads sincerely need to take whatever offer they can get and run. I've never seen interest in the team this low. It's dead. No one cares. And is the most dead-ass team I've ever seen. The attendance and TV ratings will crater. They're nuts if they think the value of the franchise is going anywhere but down over the next 2-3 years.

    There is zero chance of a new Twins ballpark anytime in the next 25 years. Zero. And Target Field doesn't need major renovations. The Pohlad's haven't done a lot right but keeping Target Field in great shape is one of them. An argument can be made that no MLB franchise is a great investment due to the declining popularity of the sport. But I don't really see how the Twins are a worse investment than any other mid-market team would be. Yes, the current TV situation is not ideal, but it's not ideal for any mid-market teams. It will likely work itself out in the next 5 years and have them at least back where they were 2-3 years ago, making $50-75 million/year on the local rights. And while the fan support right now isn't good, that's largely BECAUSE the current owners have become toxic. A new owner and a couple goodwill gestures with some lower priced tickets etc. and hopefully a better team will rectify that pretty easily.

    Fire Rocco. It probably won't help but it sure won't hurt. We are finally playing Buxton when healthy, but we're going to run Swingin' Christian Vazquez out there for 4 games out of 7 this weeks because it's his "turn" and sit Jeffers on the bench. Tonight it meant him coming up twice with runners in scoring position and of course doing nothing. Any other manager would have Jeffers catching 5 of 7 this week. But not Rocco. He has a system. And that system says a completely helpless offensive catcher gets 80 starts and 400 AB's no matter what.

    The Paddock experiment needs to end. it doesn't matter if he's out of options, no one will claim his contract at $7 million. He's in the exact some boat as Dobnak but I'd rather have Dobnak in the bullpen than Paddock. Just DFA him already. And Gasper does not need to be on this roster over Austin Martin. He provides zero value with the bat or the glove.

    Apparently only "participating" TV providers can authenticate to use the app. And the only one participating is Xfinity. Not Comcast/Midco and not DirecTV. So at least with DirecTV, you can only watch live or on your home DVR. If you want to watch a non-live game while traveling you will have to pay for a Twins.tv subscription. Ridiculous.

    Rocco's seat should legitimately be in flames. This team has issues, but there is zero excuses for how bad they've been the last 50 games. Probably the worst 50 game stretch I've ever seen, including the mid-90's. Just unwatchable. Only three good things can come out of this season: -The Pohlads realize they have a declining asset and sell fast. -Falvey is fired -Rocco is fired.

    732 is the MLB Extra Innings channel, which is normally blacked out if you are in-market. This might work for tomorrow as the often unblock the 1st week. But it's also supposed to be on 668 or 668-3 as the "normal channel". But 668 is still FanDuel and 668-3 doesn't show up for me. 668-1 and 668-2 still show as FanDuel channels as well. It's entirely unclear what, if any channel it will actually be on. Really terrible job all around by the Twins, MLB and DirecTV.

    As of now, 668 is still FanDuel 668-1 and 668-2 just say "to be announced" and 668-3 doesn't exist. It's clear as mud.

    Yes. MLB is negotiating with each provider. But usually they still come mostly all at once.

    Hope he makes it back by June, stays relatively healthy and then trade him either at the deadline or next off-season. That's all you can do. There's no way they can keep him long-term.

    Glen is 84 in failing health. It won't be him. But it will probably be the Pohlads for the foreseeable future.

    I suspect it will be on the same tier as FanDuel (Bally's) and probably be on a channel right next to it. That's how it is for DirecTV with the Rockies, D-Backs etc. Unfortunately, they are unlikely to announce anything until a few days before Opening Day, so likely few/no Spring Training games.
