    It's great that Erv is helping. But frankly the pitching this season has been god awful and everyone knows it. It wouldn't shock me if we're looking for a new pitching coach in October.

    Of course they can add it. It means the ratings on a Thursday afternoon when you're 20 games under don't justify the salaries/satellite time and extra rights fees.

    If Sazuki and Plouffe clear waivers they should be traded for anything you can get.

    I knew I should have got in on Cleveland when it was 8-0. Total meltdown. What's Gibby's trade value this offseason? He's Kevin Slowey 2.0. Only slightly improved.

    I wanted them to trade Plouffe for Norris last offseason. If they both clear waivers, that's a trade I'd still make.

    Abad needs to be moved for sure, Kintzler if the return is anything decent. And they should take anything they can get for Suzuki. Obviously, Nolasco would be gravy.

    I doubt it was money. The only 'eat $' discussion is Nolasco. They were never going to eat $25 million to trade Mauer and TR wouldn't have asked. It's possible it was about Molitor as Pohlad likes him, but I seriously doubt TR wanted him fired mid-season. But most likely, Pohlad asked TR what his off-season plan was, and was told they're 'so close' and only need a tweak here or there and decided to pull the trigger.

    They need to change the rule. If you beat the throw to the base and don't over slide it, you should be safe. For 100 years the umpires would have laughed in the face of anyone claiming Rosario should be out on that.

    No. He's hit .200 in less than a season and will probably be coming off a major injury. You'd be selling at his absolute lowest value.
