    I remember thinking 75 was too hot to sleep as a teenager. Now I've changed my tune. Plus, 75 is a bit chilly when it's 100 degrees outside!

    Poll time! What temp do people have their thermostat in the winter compared to summer? For me, in the winter 68, in the summer 75.

    First day at the new job was a success! I've never worked at a huge company prior to this... After day 1 I have the basics down. Like where the bathroom is.

    Thanks to the top prospect recap summary I see Tyler Jay made an appearance yesterday! How's he looking these days? I kind of forgot about him as a bullpen option. EDIT: Also, did he ever end up having a surgery to fix his ailment? Or did rest and rehab do the trick?

    As far as players maintaining their productivity past 32... I can think of a few 2B today that's done so. Cano, Pedroia, Kinsler, Utley...

    Ahh, love that these reports are back! And concur with others, the top prospect update is a great addition to the report.

    Team options are definitely a thing. That's why Chris Sale and Madison Bumgarner are underpaid for their production. Those 2 signed their contracts 1-2 years after making their MLB debuts. So not sure if an established player like Dozier can be talked into it.

    I've said this in multiple Dozier contract threads. I want him back. His production will be hard to replace from the internal options. He's a fan favorite and the vocal club house leader. There are several 2B still producing in their mid-30s. I'd go 4 years without hesitation. 5 years I'd wince but still do it. 6+ years is where I walk away.

    I'm starting a new job at a new company on Monday. The office is located at the Dell headquarters, but we're moving locations in 2 weeks. For the time being, the company is set up in Michael Dell's private basketball court on the 3rd floor of the building. Basically the company I'm going to be working for is the Milton of Dell.

    I'm not sure if Lynn threw a single offspeed pitch for a strike today. Some hitters bailed him out swinging at junk in the dirt, but not many. Even with the score 5-4 it was one of the most boring games I've watched.
